Level 1 & Level 2 Coaching Clinic |
Bozeman will be hosting a Level 1 Coaching Clinic and a Level 2 Coaching Clinic November 22 and November 23.
The clinics are for current coaches who need to be certified and anyone who plans to be or would like to be a coach. Parents who want to know more about hockey or be present on the bench to open the door are encouraged to attend. Materials will be provided and attending both days is encouraged.
There will NOT be an on-ice component.

In preparation for the upcoming hockey season at the Haynes Pavilion, the Gallatin Hockey Officials Association (GHOA) is recruiting new referees. GHOA provides on ice officials for all youth levels, mites to High School, three adult levels, the MSU hockey team and some of its members work the Junior A Icedogs games. Last year the GHOA provided officials for over 400 games at the Haynes Pavilion.
A USA Hockey sanctioned official’s seminar will be held at Reach, Inc., 322 Gallatin Park Dr. on Saturday October 18th from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. New and previously registered officials are invited. Cost of the seminar is $20.00 per person, payable at the door, and includes membership in the Gallatin Hockey Officials Association
There are three steps to becoming a fully registered hockey official:
1.Complete a USA Hockey Referee Application Form online at www.usahockey.com. Level One fee is $35. When USA Hockey receives your application they will send you a rulebook.
2.Complete and pass the open book exam on line anytime. Level Two and higher officials must also complete and pass a closed book exam at the seminar.
3.Attend a USA Hockey official’s seminar. Other seminars will be held in Helena, Butte, Missoula and Billings.
