As a team sport, hockey affirms the importance of commitment, self-discipline, and sportsmanship among participants. It is the rare child who grows up to become an NHL All Star. The Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association is committed to assuring that all young people who participate in the BAHA Youth Hockey Program will develop skills and values which will have lifelong benefit to them and to society, including: - development of the skills necessary to play ice hockey
- knowledge of the rules and strategies of the game
- knowledge of conditioning techniques that affect short and long term health and performance
- enjoyment and recreation
- commitment to teamwork
- good sportsmanship.
BAHA is dedicated to the development of youth through the game of hockey and committed to providing young people the opportunity to have fun on the ice while learning the skills of skating and the game of hockey. Membership is available to all interested youth regardless of socio-economic background. BAHA is committed to the development of youth hockey in the greater Gallatin County area. The home ice of the BAHA Icedogs teams is the Haynes Pavilion located at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. The BAHA Youth Program has over 200 youth players enrolled for the 2007-2008 season.

From I-90, take exit 306 (North 7th Street). Turn south on N. 7th St. and proceed approximately 0.25 mile to Oak Street. Turn east (left) on Oak and proceed approximately 0.5 mile to Gallatin County Fairgrounds North Entrance. Turn south (right) and enter fairgrounds.
