How Can I Play Hockey?
Men and Women over the age of 18 have many opportunities to learn and play the great game of hockey. Haynes Hockey League levels include Novice (D3), Intermediate (VHW), Rec and Power leagues. Intro to Hockey coached skill sessions are also available. The Hocktober Scramble runs from Sept. 25th-Oct. 29th and the regular season runs from Oct. 30-April 15th.
When is Registration?
Registration for Hocktober Scramble 2011-2012 is Aug. 28th - Sept. 11th Sign up during this time and save $30!
Regiatration for the 2011-2012 Regular season is Aug. 28th - October. 16th. Sign up during this time and save $50!

What pads do I need to play hockey??
Most players wear all the protective gear in our programs: helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, breezers and cups! Full face masks are also wise. However, players are only required to wear a helmet at all times while playing hockey.
How do I get on an adult team if I am new to the program?
When you sign up for the HHL, please select "unassigned" to indicate that you are new to the league and you will be placed on a team that needs players of your skill level.

What is the Hocktoberscramble?
The Hocktober Scramble is different for many league players because they will play two games per week instead of one (for 5 weeks) and everyone will be mixed in with players from all other regular season teams within two levels of play instead of four levels (meaning you play with a wider range of skill levels).
Is there women’s only hockey program?
Due to limited ice, the HHL levels are all co-ed. More than 40 ladies currently are active across all levels of play. A ladies dressing area is provided. Ladies do form teams that host and travel to tournaments throughout the season.

What is the Weasels Womens Hockey Team?
The Weasels are a Womens team that travels to 2-3 tournaments a year aswell as host a local Women's tournament called the "Get Lucky Cup". Occasional Ice rental is also done throughout the season to play against one of the older mens teams or the girls team.

What is USA Hockey and why do I need to be a member??USA Hockey is the governing body of hockey in the US. BAHA/HHL hockey programs which are sanctioned by USA Hockey (all youth teams and adult league) require that all participants are registered members for insurance purposes.
Is there any pickup hockey?
Pickup hockey (including sessions for non-league members is occasionally scheduled in unused ice slots (see rink schedule for specific ice times). Puck Lunch is also offered most week days from 11am - 12:50 pm. See the web for details, costs and times.
Can I play puck lunch if I’m not a BAHA member??
Puck lunch is open to the public for $12 per session M-F (unless posted) from 11am-12:50pm. Please sign in on the clipboard hanging in the main West entrance, put $12 in a provided envelope and place your name on it before depositing in the yellow metal post.
Where can I buy hockey gear?
Can I rent ice for a private party?
Ice is available to rent when it is not being used for any of our other skating programs at a rate of $150 per hour (including a 10 minute ice resurface). The warm room is available with rental which includes tables and chairs. Please contact the Operations Director through our webpage for ice availability.
How do I become a hockey referee?

How can I volunteer?
Talk to your youth team manager, your team captain or contact the rink by phone 586-5557 to find a job appropriate for your skills. Club emails will also go out when group efforts are needed – sign up for the mailing list on our webpage if you have not joined the league.

How do I file an injury claim with USA Hockey?
